Overview:

The DM860H is a high-performance digital stepper motor driver powered by DSP technology, designed for 2-phase hybrid stepper motors. Supporting frame sizes 57mm, 60mm, and 86mm with peak current up to 7.2A, it optimizes quiet, smooth operation with minimal vibration. It integrates motor-specific control algorithms and advanced protection features (overheat, overcurrent, overvoltage) to ensure reliable performance. The driver allows flexible configuration of 128 microstepping levels and current settings, making it suitable for precision motion control applications.

Applications:

Wiring Interface:

PUL+ / PUL-: Pulse input signal (rising edge effective by default, pulse width >1.2μs)

DIR+ / DIR-: Direction control signal (level-triggered, requires >5μs setup before pulses)

ENA+ / ENA-: Enable signal (low level disables motor output, can be left floating if unused)

AC+ / AC-: Power input (18–80VAC or 24–110VDC)

A+ / A-, B+ / B-: Stepper motor phase windings (4/6/8-wire compatible)


DIP Switch Settings:

Current (SW1–SW3): 8-level adjustment from 2.00A (2.40A peak) to 6.00A (7.20A peak)

Standby Mode (SW4): ON for full current, OFF for half current

Microstepping (SW5–SW8): 15 levels including 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 5, 10, 20, 25, 40, 50, 100, 125 steps/rev
